SCHOLAR: THE LIVE APPROACH TO BUSINESS

The “Live Approach” to business is a method of business that serves to action the value of transparency. It is a method used to develop notoriety within a company. The Live method of business can be implemented through various methods. As it pertains to Erations Conglomerate, the “live approach” is being constantly actioned. On it’s main page there is a “Social Studies” section where consumers can post their reviews of products while also their disdain or appreciation for the company. Further, every SBU listed on this page has a similar notes section wherein the President of the company constantly makes live notes with regards to the company initiatives, directives, inquisitives, informatives and or colaberatives. This method in politics is what is referred to as transparency. It is important to have such value because it serves as a method by which disclosure of information are freely provided. By having such system, it ensures that the company is operating with the principles of “good faith” and “good will”. “Good faith” can be defined as, acting with honesty (Yates 2017). “Good will” can be defined as, product identification (Yates 2017). These two business practices help the company ascertain notoriety. There are several SBU’s that seek to further the concept of the “live approach”. It involves the use of multimedia recordings. However, before discussing this, it is important to go back to the “dot com” boom.

In the “dot com” boom there was an experiment that had occurred. There was an individual who at the time envisioned that all aspects of his life would be recorded on camera. He situated cameras all over his apartment and decided to present it over the internet live. This operation was successful and it created an underground community. When this individual met his spouse, they at first didn’t think much of such cameras and recordings however, as the relationship progressed the spouse became suspicious and paranoid. She started to not like the cameras recording her every move. It became too much for her to handle and the couple fought about this resulting in a separation.

The “live approach” to business that Erations Conglomerate is proposing aims to refine the aforementioned model and function it to develop within the company a stimulus or excitement. Such stimulus serves to assist people in giving them “value.” The employees get promoted online and if they subscribe to social constructs set forth in various industries such as the cosmetic industry as it pertains to “hotness,” they perhaps can have other opportunities knocking on their door. The method essentially helps the staff ascertain “job satisfaction.” As for the consumer, the products that are provided are going to be “free” or of very low cost in exchange for the implementation of the “live approach.” For example, Erations Conglomerate has an SBU referred to as “Bar Analytica”. This SBU is going to be a law firm with various staff including partner Attorneys, Paralegals and Legal Assistants all working to further the agenda of law and social justice. What is going to transpire here is that through “corporate social responsibility” the SBU is going to have a part of the company offer “pro bono” work. Many people in society cannot afford to retain a lawyer because they are in marginalized situations or perhaps they have too many expenditures. The problem is the fact that society doesn’t have a “Legal Coverage Program” so that such individuals can avail of legal protection. Thus, law firms are tasked with individually deciding to offer social responsibility efforts on their own accord. Regardless, the “live approach’ aims to use cameras and other multimedia to publicize the entire case to the public and perhaps even to the opposition. Affidavits of Publication are created and publicised for every form of media produced by the company. Such media can be pictures, sound recordings of conversations, and video recordings of conversations and or thoughts on the issue. In addition to these, clients will be compelled to provide “testimonials” to the product provided all in a bid to create notoriety for the SBU in an effort to action corporate social responsibility. The benefits to this method with respect that such SBU is a law firm is that the transparency will provide and harbour the development of talent and ability of the staff. The talent is honed through the socialization process as cameras flash and record making the staff act in a manner that they feel is appropriate. Education however are honed via the experiential process of learning as these staff will be constantly be subjected to implement “best practice” as the company is being viewed by the publics and the opposition. “Best Practice” can be defined as upholding standards and ethics in practical situations (Ross- Kerr 2006). With the honing of both socialization and education this creates a program within the company. A program for cultural development in the company. It is such culture that harnesses interesting conversations and helps the staff engage with each other as they hotly debate on the publicized matters pertaining to the current case being promoted. By creating a method by which the staff can have shared beliefs, values and morals the staff can grow in a workplace that sustains and develops their talents and abilities as other opportunities present themselves external to Erations Conglomerate. The field of law is already a discipline known for “head hunting” oftentimes paralegals and legal assistants are offered sums of money to come work for various lawyers. Companies even call their rival law firms attempting to persuade their interest to such staff they would like to take on. By implementing the live approach to business, it becomes obvious that it advocates the needs and wants of the staff. Henceforth it is a method by which Erations Conglomerate appreciates its staff and a method to give back in innovative ways. Essentially as it pertains to this SBU, the staff will develop better critical thinking skills and are going to be more prepared in court as their talents and abilities will be honed making the staff think in decisive ways.

Another SBU that such “live approach” can be implemented is Poket Porn. This is an SBU that requires a culture of flexibility and discretion. Staff employed in this SBU can work in various environments, for example an apartment. What is interesting to note here is that the culture in this SBU requires an element of surprise. It is such “element of surprise” that creates excitement. People in this SBU could be arguing about the person they performed with. Or perhaps they can perform with the partner of the individual they work with. This action all gets publicized in a bid to create the culture in this SBU. Another example within this SBU is the “casting couch” method. It is a place where a brief conversation takes place to depict “feelings” between the performers. Actually, these interactions are a method by which social learning takes place. Social learning can be defined as what people see they do (Akers 2013). Henceforth observers of the casting couch method can learn to interact before having sex with their partners or love interest in a bid to objectify their bodies. This also is a way by which differential association takes place. Differential association can be defined as behavior is learned (Akers 2013). It is the observer’s association to what is being depicted in the live approach of Poket Porn that helps them conquer their inhibitions and fears as it pertains to the matter of sex and intimacy. It helps people develop self worth so they may action their self interest in partaking in their deep desire to have “rough” “passionate” sex. Through social learning and differential association socialization takes place within the SBU via the live approach.

In the SBU of Foodie Goody. The live approach can be implemented. Foodie Goody is an SBU which concerns culture. It prepares foods that are as authentic as possible in ways that from whence the food originated. For example, if the SBU offers a Shmoregesboard, the SBU creates it in the same way that it would be done in Sweden to pay homage to the culture of the country. In this SBU, the live approach can capture and publicize the making of the Shmoregesboard. It can also capture the customers consuming the food in the restaurant. By doing it in this way it promotes a sense of diplomacy because it shows that the SBU took the time to get acquainted with the customs of the country because they used similar methods and techniques. Clearly, if the live approach to business is offered in this SBU the food would have to be free or discounted. A section in the restaurant can serve this purpose. It would be a way to promote the product to the publics so that notoriety can be developed. It is also a way that Erations Conglomerate as a whole gives back to its customers.

With the examples explained above, it becomes clear that the live approach to business becomes an important tool for “product testing”. It allows the company to give the consumer a range of options so that when they make their purchases, they can provide feedback. Essentially the live approach to business can help companies conduct better research and development as they cater specific products to certain demographics. The live approach to business helps companies identify the reception of the product being promoted. Therefore, by implementing the live approach to business, it serves as a method by which to help with company expansion initiatives.
