This dish is an alternative to Poutine, created in Montreal in the 1980's. Freedom Bennys have seasoned French fries that are soaked in a hypotonic sugar solution for several hours prior to being frozen. Whence deep fried, it are seasoned, and cheese is added. Two Bleeding Eggs are placed above.
